the andrea alphabet

I saw this on Molly's blog and thought it would be fun to do myself! So if you've been wanting to know more about me, here you go:

Ambition: To be happy and content with everything in my life. I touched on it once in college: I loved the place I was living (a new place far from home), I was taking classes in something I loved (photography), I had a couple of jobs and could afford what I needed, I had a handful of friends that I could truly be myself around for the first time in my life, and I had my first boyfriend who was absolutely amazing (and who is now my fiancé). I currently live back at home and while some of this is still true, most of it isn't and I can't wait to be in that place again...

Bad Habit: Not exercising...

City: I absolutely fell in love with San Francisco when I visited for this first time this year!

Drink: I actually do drink a lot of water and don't really crave anything else.

Education: Associate of Science in Photography

Food: I love many many foods, but spaghetti & meatballs in a chunky mushroom marinara sauce (no ground meat) is my favorite. I usually go for anything pasta such as macaroni & cheese, fettucini alfredo, lo mein. But I do love a good burger or pizza. Gosh, so unhealthy...

Guilty Pleasures: Going to the local Japanese restaurant just so I can drown my food in their delicious "white sauce." Do you know what I'm talking about? Japanese steakhouses have the same sauce.

Hometown: Martinsville, a small city in southern Virginia

Ice Cream: I love any kind of ice cream with chocolate in it, mainly Moose Tracks (with fudge and tiny peanut butter cups).

Jonesing for: Avocados, avocados, avocados!

Kryptonite: Chocolate. Enough said.

Look-a-like: I have been told more times than I can remember that I look like Tina Majorino, the little girl from Andre, Waterworld, and Corrina, Corrina.

Movie: I have many but at the moment Out of Africa is my absolute favorite. I wish I could live in it...

Nicknames: My dad has always called me Pinky and used to call me Sweet Potato. My brother calls me Andy, Andidy, Little Miss Big Andies. My fiancé sometimes calls me Tatertot but mostly I'm his Pretty Little Duck. My grandfather used to call me Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. I grew up hating potatoes (though I'm starting to like them more now) so I have absolutely no clue why I have so many potato nicknames!

Obsession: I've never had my own apartment so I spend a lot of time looking at interior decorating ideas and dreaming about how I would decorate my own place.

Perfume: I haven't tried very many but whenever I wore Victoria's Secret Dream Angels Heavenly, I got lots of compliments.

Quirk: I'm a neat freak to the point of being obsessive compulsive. Seriously. Every little thing in my room has its place and it must stay there!

Regrets: Not being happy with myself and embracing my individuality during middle and high school. Not working harder in college.

Starbucks: Tall Chai Latte

Talent: I've always been artistic, whether it was drawing or painting or taking pictures.

University: The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in Florida

Vacation: Growing up, my parents had a timeshare condo that they would exchange for a different place every summer. We very rarely went anywhere truly exciting (except for Disney World one year and Las Vegas another), but they were always the best and usually along the East Coast. Just going somewhere different was exciting in itself. It's been seven years since our last family vacation and I really miss it!

Wine: I used to like red better but I'm currently loving Chardonnay.

X: I'll have to copy Alivia and say that I love crossing things off of lists, even if it means writing something down that I've already done just so I can cross it off.

Years: I'm twenty-four years old.

Zen: When I can spend a day by myself doing whatever I want without the guilt that I should be doing something else.

I love this! I'm going to copy. Gosh, it's like a chain letter.

Tina Majorino... I never realized it, but you do! She's uber cute, so I think it's a good fit. :D
