opulent boudoir

I came across this uncredited image on tumblr (tumblr really annoys me for that reason...) and it instantly reminded of the current Bulgari ad campaign featuring Julianne Moore! I can't get over how much the model in the painting actually looks like Julianne... For all I know it was actually the inspiration for it!

Note: Upon further research, I've found, according to this source, that this painting is the inspiration for the ads. But who painted the image I've come across?! Does anyone know?!

Update: Oh thank God, I'm not going crazy... Jane just informed me that the first image actually is a photograph of Julianne Moore by Michael Thompson! I still think it looks so much like a painting...

Aren't those Bulgari ads beautiful? I've never seen the top pic before, but it certainly is lovely.

Julianne Moore is stunning.
