love letter to japan

Over the past few days, I have noticed so many artists doing their part to help Japan. Photographer Alicia Bock just debuted these Limited Edition Polaroid Prints. Proceeds will be donated to Red Cross relief efforts in Japan.

I love the subtle beauty of these prints and how the red sun is an instant symbol of Japan. (I just purchased the last one.)

Yep, those are super cool.

Talk about brilliant "branding" on Japan's part. ;) Isn't it cool the way a simple red dot does absolutely and clearly communicate Japan? Our brains are intriguing creations.

Thank you for bringing awareness to the situation in Japan. These prints are so subtle, and brilliant, and they speak volumes right now.
