a french press method

First off, these pictures are simply to die for...

Second, this post on Sprouted Kitchen (full of absolutely stunning food photography) couldn't have come at a better time. One of my Christmas gifts was a Bodum french press which I was über-excited to have! It doesn't seem difficult to use, but I was just thinking about starting to search for advice online when the coffee post popped up in my reader. Like I said, perfect timing!

However, not only was there an in-depth step-by-step guide with helpful links, but there was also a video! A simple, classic, gorgeous and informative video at that:

mmmmm beautiful images indeed! I like coffee but am so afraid of getting addicted so I try to limit myself :)There is a new place in Roanoke that you'll have to try when you're in town called Get...super strong/flavorful coffee if you like it strong.

Love the photos!! I used to have a French press, but I am still a fan of instant coffee (go Tasters Choice!)

That last picture of the beans is AMAZING. I would love to get a huge print of it and hang it in my kitchen.

Jordan and I used to have a french press, but the press part of it got kind of mangled, so we'd get coffee grounds in our drink... yuck. Jordan uses a Chimex now, almost exclusively.

I love my french press... except cleaning it. Have you figured out a simple way to clean it yet??
