24 things to do before i turn 24

I've really enjoyed Tali's "Things To Do Before I Turn __" lists (check out her current one right here)! So I'm taking inspiration and starting my own! I turn 24 in about 6 months. Will that give me enough time to do all this? We'll find out...

1. Ride in a hot air balloon
2. Increase my Etsy sales by at least one a month
3. Organize all of my closets and boxes of stuff
4. Keep my plant, Vladimir, alive
5. Do a cleanse or detox
6. Lose 5 pounds and keep them off
7. See every exhibit at the local art gallery
8. Read at least half of the books on this Best 100 Novels list (I've read 36 so far)
9. Watch all of the movies on this Best 100 movies list (I've watched 56 so far)
10. Watch a really good meteor shower in 2010 or 2011
11. Finally find out what my credit score is
12. Add the same amount to my retirement fund as I did last year
13. Go to a winery
14. Finally meet that blog friend in Roanoke
15. Visit my twin brother in South Carolina
16. Spend Christmas with my boyfriend for the first time
17. Join a yoga class
18. Cook more and organize all of my recipes
19. Donate blood
20. Dye my hair red
21. Give back to the community in some way
22. Watch at least 6 of the 12 seasons of Law & Order: SVU
23. Get a credit card for the sole purpose of building credit
24. Finally fix that "tiny" long-distance problem between me and my boyfriend

I'll be sure to keep you up-to-date every couple of months or so!

Oh! How is Swan Thieves by the way? The Historian is one of my favorite novels, I'd be willing to go another round with Elizabeth Kostova.

lol, yeah... some of it i'm not sure will happen, some i have no control over, some doesn't really go along with my whole saving money thing, and some i just really need to do! but i didn't want to make it easy and only put stuff that i knew i could do... i need to push myself, which is hard for me, and i figure the best way to motivate me is if i share it on my blog. that way, i feel more inclined to do it because i don't want to look like a failure to everyone who reads it :)

i LOVE LOVE LOVED "the historian" and since you did too, i really think you'll like "the swan thieves"!! it's so so so good! i pretty much did nothing but read it all day on sunday!

YAY for "to do" lists. I love them!!!!!!
I didn't know you're a twin. Very cool.
I REALLY want to do a cleanse or a detox too, but I'm kind of scared. Maybe I'll wait to hear how yours goes first. ;)
