I've always loved the movie Casper with Cristina Ricci and Bill Pullman. I know it's probably known as more of a comedy, but I was always more interested in the serious aspect of it:
How Casper was the lonely ghost of a boy who died too young. How his father, in vain, invented a machine to bring his only son back to life. How there was a hint of a love story between Casper and Kat. How Kat's father communicated with ghosts in hopes of finding his dead wife. And of course how awesomely haunted and ornate the house was...
And then, of course, the dress. Casper's mother's white dress that Kat wears to the Halloween party. That's what these pictures remind me of...
